Here at Lan Farm Glamping, set in the Carmarthenshire countryside, we know that many of our guests welcome the fact that we are a dog friendly glamping site. They feel a getaway would not be the same without them, and we completely understand why, having two dog of our own.
Also at the same time we are conscious of the fact that not everyone has a dog. Everyone wants a relaxing stay that means stepping into a space that feels fresh, clean, and completely their own. And that matters just as much.
Why There is a Small Charge for Dogs
We charge a small additional fee for dogs, which helps us cover the extra level of cleaning required. We want every guest to step into a pod that feels completely fresh and entirely theirs, so we take cleaning very seriously, and that takes extra time, and care after our canine visitors.
It allows us to properly refresh the pod, so that whether you arrive with a dog or not, it feels just right.
We Ask For a Little Help From Our Dog Guests
As an adult only site, we have created a space that is calm and unhurried – somewhere you and your dog can properly switch off together.
We ask only a few simple things:
Keep your dogs off the bed and furniture
Bring something for them to settle in/on
Make sure they are clean and dry before coming inside (a dog shower is provided)
A Stay That Feels Right
Our aim is simple – a place where dogs are welcome, but where every guest, dog owner or not, can walk in and feel instantly comfortable.
Clean, fresh, hair free, and ready for you.
Peace of Mind for Non-Dog Owners
If you do not have a dog, you might wonder what dog-friendly really mean for your stay. For us, it means that dogs are welcome, but only on our terms. Each pod is thoroughly cleaned between every stay, and we have a dog shower on site so guests can make sure their dogs are clean before coming inside. Our aim is simple: when you arrive, you should not be able to tell whether the last guests had a dog or not. Fresh, clean and completely ready for you.
The Carmarthenshire Countryside on Your Doorstep
One of the things our guests with dogs really love is being able to step straight out into the Carmarthenshire countryside. The area around the farm is quiet and unhurried, ideal for an early morning walk either in the local vicinity or in our own small woodland. Not only do you have the whole of Carmarthenshire to investigate, but Bannau Brycheiniog (the Brecon Beacons) and the Pembrokeshire Coast are both within easy reach too, so there is no shortage of walking for you and your dog.
Ready to Book? Availability is Limited
We only have two glamping pods, so availability does go quickly, especially over the weekends and school holidays. If you are thinking of bringing your dog along for a Carmarthenshire escape, it is worth checking out dates sooner rather than later.
